Hydreon Corporation, in a joint development with Xenso, announces the model RTS-70C Rain Tracker Sensor. The RTS-70C communicates over the J1939 bus, a standard digital communications protocol used by trucks, buses, and other vehicles. The RTS-70C sends the appropriate messages reserved for the SAE J1939 for rain sensing wiper control. Additional, the RTS-70C sends headlamp control information, as well as other information that may be of use in vehicle control, meteorology, or other sensing applications.
