Special Rain Tracker Installation Notes for this vehicle:
SPECIAL APPLICATION NOTE:
To use the Rain Tracker, place the existing wiper control
in intermittent mode, and turn on the activation switch.
The Rain Tracker controls the wiper from off (on the
windshield in the home position) through steady slow.
IT WILL NOT RUN THE WIPERS AT HIGH SPEED.

Other special application notes:
The Rain Tracker relays will click (quiet, but audible) whenever
it senses rain. Alternatively, you can install an installer-supplied
DPDT or DPST activation switch that controls the line to the MUX (as shown)
and also breaks the GRY wire connection in to the Rain Tracker when the
switch is off.
On some GM: GM sometimes reverses the gray and green wires coming
from the switch. They then switch positions after the connector
coming from the switch. Check for this.
Do not connect the Rain Tracker FAST relay contacts to the FAST
winding of the motor. This would short the FAST and SLOW windings
of the motor together, which would cause it to wear prematurely.
This vehicle is wiper system class GM-PMDP. The intermittent
wipe controller is built into the wiper motor cover, in
a motor/controller combination. The Rain Tracker is installed
between the wiper control switch and the motor/controller.
All wires except ground are available coming from the wiper
switch. They can usually be accessed by removing one or
two access panels (Kick Panels.)
You may use a single 6800 ohm resistor in place of the series-connected
resistor shown. No resistor value shown is critical-- any reasonable
close value will work.
For the Rain Tracker chassis ground, find a suitable chassis
ground. Be sure to scrape away paint as needed to get good
contact.
Note: Some vehicles may have the MUX as BRN, RED, RED/WHT or ORN and
SLOW as BRN, GRY or LT-BLU check with a multimeter.
Some vehicles may have a different diagram if it has no intermittent. If
this is your vehicle, check with a multimeter for proper operation of the
wires.
