Special Rain Tracker Installation Notes for this vehicle:
Ground is available in the wires connecting to the switch.
+12V, hot in accessory or run, is available from the central junction box.
Other sources of +12V can be substituted.
For some: To the right of steering column, there is a gray plastic plug
with vehicle power intended for accessory. There is a brown
wire that is hot in accessory or run.
Please note: if there is a wire from the wiper switch that is has pink and
black tracers, this is NOT the +12V wire you need.
This system works by having the switch ground logic lines that run to the
motor. The Rain Tracker works in parallel with the existing system.
Check to make sure that all manual/automatic combinations work properly.
To wipe at low speed, the Rain Tracker pulls logic lines A and B low.
To wipe at high speed, the Rain Tracker pulls logic lines A, B, and C low.
Use a short length of wire from the diode to the vehicle wiring harness.
Information from the vehicle manufacturers can contain errors--
It is a good idea to check with a multi-meter that the wires operate with
the switch as shown.
