Wire colors used in this vehicle:
+12V - LOCATE
GROUND - CHASSIS
FAST - GRN/YEL
SLOW - BLK/WHT
Special Rain Tracker Installation Notes for this vehicle:
Write the wire colors of the vehicle on the HSS drawing, and follow that
when you wire up the Rain Tracker. Use the factory drawing as a reference
to help you find the wires.
The wiper motor wires (FAST and SLOW) are not available coming from the
wiper motor switch, and must be made at the wiper motor. The FAST and SLOW
wires may also be accessed at the Vehicle Electrical System Control Module.
Mount the Rain Tracker control module in the passenger compartment under
inst.panel. Find suitable power and ground. Power source should be min.
12-16ga. wire on a 15-25A circuit. (Switched cigarette lighter or accy.outlet
is often a good choice for these.) Extend the FAST and SLOW connections to
the Rain Tracker through the firewall to reach the wiper motor.
Use a multimeter to verify wire functions before making connections
to the Rain Tracker.
