Special Rain Tracker Installation Notes for this vehicle:

NOTE: These vehicles have a digital switch system and may need a special CAM
Feedback Adapter to operate correctly. Check for this using the intructions below.
Please contact OEDES by e-mail at info@oedes.com or by phone at 888-621-5800 to
obtain the adapter.

NOTE: Some vehicles may have +12V as RED at the motor.

NOTE: On the MDX, FAST - GRN and +12V - WHT

DIGITAL SWITCH SYSTEM
For some digital switch systems, the software of the body control module can cause the
wipers to occaisionally stop in the middle of the windshield. The problem is that the body
control module does not run the wipers back to home position after the Rain Tracker initiates
a wipe. You can check that the system does NOT exhibit this by:

1. Cut the SLOW wiper motor wire where you would install the Rain Tracker.

2. With the vehicle running, momentarily connect the motor side to GROUND, then back
to the switch side, restoring the original SLOW connection.

3. If the wipers run back home, the Rain Tracker should have no compatibility problems. But, if
they stop in the middle of the windshield, that is trouble and CAM Feedback Adapter is needed.

Write the wire colors of the vehicle on the GSS drawing, and follow that
when you wire up the Rain Tracker. The factory drawing is just a reference
to help you find the wires. The only information you need from the factory
drawing is that you need to locate the blue (SLOW) wire and the yellow (FAST)
wire coming from the wiper motor, and running to the under-hood Fuse/Relay
box.

To install a Rain Tracker, you must access the wires going to the wiper motor
winding terminals, locate the Rain Tracker control module under
the dashboard, and run wires to the wiper motor windings-- you will need to
extend the wires from the RainTracker, and go through the firewall.

This is a harder installation than most, because of the difficulty in getting
to the wiper motor terminals.
