Wire colors used in this vehicle:
+12V - GRN/BLK
GROUND - BLK
FAST - BLU/YEL
SLOW - BLU
Special Rain Tracker Installation Notes for this vehicle:
Note: On the 2002-2006 Acura MDX, the +12V is BLK/YEL
Write the wire colors of the vehicle on the GSS drawing, and follow that
when you wire up the Rain Tracker. Use the factory drawing as a reference
to help you find the wires.
This is a Ground Side Switching system.
All wires are available coming from the wiper
switch. They can usually be accessed by removing one or
two access panels (Kick Panels) and shrouds surrounding
the steering column.
Note: Some vehicles may NOT have the +12V at the switch. If this is the case,
for Rain Tracker power (+12V), locate a source of power hot in accessory or
run.(min.16 ga/ 10A circuit) This can be one of the +12V sourcesb as shown on
the diagram, or some other accessory source. The Cigarette lighter is often
a good +12V source.
